Self portrait

A self-portrait or self-portrait is a self-representation of the physiognomy of a visual artist with the means of painting, graphics, sculpture or photography.

The collage is both a visual art technique and a work of art created using this technique. Traditionally, a new whole is created by gluing different elements onto a base, hence the name (from French coller, "sticking"). There is also collage beyond the boundaries of the visual arts, namely as music videos in the style of Yes We Can, as literary collages in the style of Walter Kempowski, as text and sound collages [1] such as Alfred Andersch's The Death of James Dean or as text Picture collages like those by Herta Müller.

M. C. Escher

Maurits Cornelis Escher (born June 17, 1898 in Leeuwarden, Province of Friesland, † March 27, 1972 in Hilversum, Province of North Holland) was a Dutch artist and graphic artist who was best known for his depiction of impossible figures. Maurits Cornelis Escher is probably one of the artists who particularly fascinates and influences me. I love its impossible optical illusions. On the left a very naive sketch. It represents a river that apparently only flows downwards and yet arrives at its place of origin. The original: https://www.kunstkopie.de/a/escher-mc/wasserfall-ese-15.html
