meditation

is an integral part of my daily routine

I started meditating when I was 30. I had cancer with metastases from my stomach to my throat. At that time, friends and relatives showered me with books on healing and complementary medicine. I soon realized how important mental health is for a healthy body and how sensitively body, mind and soul interact. There is now enough evidence that e.g. extreme stress, depression etc. can also trigger serious physical illnesses such as cancer.

Today meditation is an integral part of my daily routine. I enjoy the "time to switch off" mostly in conjunction with a fragrant bubble bath by candlelight and soft sounds. It's strange but just thinking of meditation "like in this moment" changes my emotional state and my heart rate. Meditation experienced know what I mean 8-) I am describing the state that already arises in me while thinking about meditation as a very intense feeling of joy, calm, harmony, love and relaxation.

meditate heals

The practice of mindfulness means becoming aware of what is happening around me and in me at the moment. It is the key to a new, healthier life. It works both preventively and curative. That's why I like to speak of the "miracle of meditation". Those who meditate have a powerful tool at their disposal for self-healing.

meditation strengthens

Meditation is also used in professional sports to strengthen mental willpower and in training to increase muscle performance. Years of meditation can also have a positive effect on the brain and especially the connections between nerve cells. Meditation has been shown to strengthen the immune system. This can be demonstrated, for example, by the number of blood cells.

Mindfulness

Contrary to the widespread opinion that one has stepped away while meditating, I usually find myself in a very alert, attentive, concentrated state. All my senses are sharpened and I can direct my mental power with thoughts where I think I need it.
